Beaconsfield Children’s Hub consists of 6 bright and spacious indoor learning environments catered for different ages and stages, a natural outdoor environment filled with beautiful trees, providing natural shade and a picturesque setting for children to grow and explore.
Research shows that participating in a quality early education program has ongoing benefits for children throughout their schooling and beyond. Our Centre offers a choice of days and session hours to suit family’s needs. Our program has a play-based learning curriculum where learning is inspired by children’s interests and developmental needs. We have an indoor/outdoor program in place in each room, where children can move freely between the two learning environments. Beaconsfield Children’s Hub values the learning promoted by being outside. Our outdoor environments offer challenges and countless opportunities for healthy active play, while also learning to assess and take appropriate risks. Our Educators enhance the choice and quality of learning experiences by supporting flexible use and interaction between indoor and outdoor spaces. Children can learn about and respect the interdependence between people and nature by using their senses to explore natural environments.
We incorporate community walks, incursions and excursions into the learning program. We encourage family input and participation into our everyday program. Our programs foster each child’s strengths, ideas, culture, abilities and interests creating a foundation for each child’s unique learning journey. We embrace the idea that children are competent learners. We understand children learn and demonstrate knowledge, skills and understanding in different ways and at different stages in time. We encourage and motivate children to give things a go and support children to bounce back and try again if unsuccessful the first time. Our collaboration with children and families plays a crucial role in creating holistic learning experiences and environments.
